ASIA MEDIA SUMMIT 2010 IN BEIJING

ISAS AND THE MEDIA SOCIETY FOUNDATION LEAD A WORKSHOP ON MEDIA QUALITY MANAGEMENT

ISAS and the Media and Society Foundation lead the pre-summit workshop on Media Quality Management, on May 24th 2010 in Beijing. Over 40 executives of Media companies from all the Asia-Pacific region area attended this one day workshop which focused on how to master the media crisis by adopting quality management techniques. The workshop also gave the opportunity to listen to Dr Jean-Bernard Münch, President of the Swiss Radio & Television board, to discuss the stakes of the quality in the broadcasting industry. Mrs Manil Cooray, Deputy director of AIBD, showed the added value of AIBD's quality management system, one year after its ISAS BCP 9001 certification and Mr Riyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, CEO of Fiji Broadcasting Corporation Limited, provided the audience with a thorough insight into the operations of his company and the quality challenges it has to take up.
