For the second successive 3-year cycle (2010-2013), Trans TV Indonesia has been re-certified as per ISAS BCP 9001:2010 international standard requirements by the Media & Society Foundation in Geneva. The quality management system implemented by Trans TV is remarkable by its capacity to sense and follow the expectations of the audience and to respect a strict editorial independence. As a result, with 13,8 % audience rate for magazines / documentaries and 13,6% for bulletins Trans TV is ranking number 1 for News in Indonesia in a very competitive landscape. ISAS AND THE MEDIA SOCIETY FOUNDATION LEAD A WORKSHOP ON MEDIA QUALITY MANAGEMENT

ISAS and the Media and Society Foundation lead the pre-summit workshop on Media Quality Management, on May 24th 2010 in Beijing. Over 40 executives of Media companies from all the Asia-Pacific region area attended this one day workshop which focused on how to master the media crisis by adopting quality management techniques. The workshop also gave the opportunity to listen to Dr Jean-Bernard Münch, President of the Swiss Radio & Television board, to discuss the stakes of the quality in the broadcasting industry. Mrs Manil Cooray, Deputy director of AIBD, showed the added value of AIBD's quality management system, one year after its ISAS BCP 9001 certification and Mr Riyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, CEO of Fiji Broadcasting Corporation Limited, provided the audience with a thorough insight into the operations of his company and the quality challenges it has to take up.

For the third consecutive time since 2000, the Swiss Society of Pharmacists has successfully been reaccredited as a Certification Body specialised in the evaluation of the quality of pharmacy services.

Based on the international standard ISAS QMS Pharma 2010, QMS Pharmacy is a quality management system very close to the practice, aimed at analyzing the quality of pharmacy services and improving them on a continual basis.

The compliance with the standard is evaluated by qualified auditors also pharmacists, after an in-depth initial audit. The certified pharmacy is regularly re-evaluated either by auditing or by mystery shopping.
