OFFICIAL LAUNCHING OF ETHICS INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATION

Swiss-based Ethics SA has officially launched the distribution of the international Certification to promote ethical conduct and best practices among private companies worldwide. 

The first stage of the international road show took place in France.  Pascal Borel, Chief Executive of Ethics SA and Jean-Francois Jenni, the company’s Chief Certification Officer, met with business leaders in Geneva, Lyon and Paris.   

The meetings increased the level of awareness among the companies willing to embed the ethical norm within their corporate strategy and across the operational network involving their partners and counterparties in the supply chain.   

Executives from small and mid-size businesses representing a variety of sectors (construction, textiles, printing, catering) attended the gatherings.  They were joined by heads of Sustainable Development departments from large enterprises active in hotel business, media and entertainment and transportation services.   
Labor organizations and representatives of professional associations also joined to collect information relating to the continuing value destruction and loss of trust within the existing economic structures.   

The meetings, press conferences and interviews generated a series of headlines, captured by the local and financial media.  

The French leg of the road show will continue in other key economic regions, including Lille and Bordeaux.

FRENCH PARLIAMENT TV GOING FOR ISAS BC 9001 CERTIFICATION

logolcpThe French Parliament television channel LCP-Assemblée nationale announced its will to begin a certification process based on ISAS BC 9001, the international standard for quality management specially dedicated to broadcasters.
 
Richard Michel, LCP's CEO, made the announcement during a press conference hold on September 17th, 2008 in Paris, in presence of Media & Society Foundation (MSF) executive director Guillaume Chenevière and Certimedia Networks representative in Paris, Xavier Gouyou-Beauchamp, from IMCA.
